Atlast the Deputy Speaker Mr. N. Manohar had issued orders to release Mr. Mallesh the driver of TRS Floor Leader MR. Eetela Rajendar, who had been imprisoned till the end of AP Assembly session for allegedly attacking the Loksatta Party MLA Jayprakash Narayan.
The world had forgotten this gentleman and busy in other important things including watching cricket world cup. What Mallesh did or not is not important but why he did that is most important and should have been debated deeply. Unfortunately, the so called intellectuals and the media and the learned people are mum on the issue. Mallesh’s outburst is the reflection of a common man’s frustration and anguish towards the inhumane and ignoring policies of the Seemandhra state government and the central govt.
As reported in the local media, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin had requested the chair and reminded that today is the last day of this session of assembly and the poor soul has to be released from the jail. He was supported by the CPI floor leader and Minister Mr. Sudhir Babu had forwarded a resolution in this regard and Deputy Speaker had issued the order for Mallesh’s release.
This is a real shock for many in Telangana that NO Telangana leader had remembered Mallesh, and a party which is not so supportive of the separate T had raised this issue. TRS is boycotting the session so they may have an excuse but what about others? Had a big person of any T aspiring groups was imprisoned for any such offense, will they ignore and go ahead with their day to day ‘busy’ schedules? Is Mallesh’s release is not the responsibility of all Telanganites? The common man may protest outside but those can go in to the state assembly have they ever tried raising on this issue? The answer is known, every single leader ignored Mallesh. The incident of JP is NO incident; it is a fact which every leader should avoid. If the stalemate on Telangana continues there will be thousands perhaps lakhs of Mallesh’s coming out on the streets and looking for the leaders’ cheeks to slap.
Thank you Syed AbdulMuqtadir for sharing.
